Congratulations to Attorney Josh Koskoff for his recent inclusion as an Innovator on the TIME100 2025 list of The Most Influential People! This recognition reflects Josh’s unique work holding gun manufacturers accountable for their role in the "uniquely American epidemic of gun violence.” Josh is the third generation of Koskoffs at the firm Koskoff Koskoff & Bieder, representing a legacy built on the idea that every person has the right to seek justice no matter how challenging their case may be or what obstacle they face.

On Tuesday, CTLA members Karolina Dowd, Luke Reynolds and Julianne Klassen had the pleasure of attending the UConn Law Practice Area Dinner. It was a great event where they had enjoyable discussions with 1L students who are so enthusiastic! They spoke about the distinct fulfillment that comes from representing plaintiffs, and the unique opportunities for junior lawyers in this practice area. Thank you to Jordan Abbott, Senior Director of Alumni Relations, for organizing this great event.

On Friday morning, members of CT Trial Lawyers left the Center for Children’s Advocacy Black History Month Breakfast feeling deeply moved and inspired. Chief Justice Raheem Mullins delivered a very personal, and powerful, Keynote address urging all to advocate for children ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive. It was an honor to be in a room full of change makers dedicated to fighting for CT’s kids.
