Have you been Downtown??

Our first cycle of Veteran's Banners are back on display now through July 5, 2026! Take a walk with the family, talk about our Hometown Heroes, and the sacrifices made every day to secure our freedoms.

As we celebrate America's 250 all year long, join us in celebrating those who stand ready to defend our country, right in our very own community.

The next Veteran's Banner cycle will open up August 3, 2026! If you're looking for an opportunity to honor your soldier, make sure you follow the Hartford Area Chamber of Commerce - more details coming soon!

** Thank you to the City of Hartford for putting up/taking down our beautiful banners, and Downtown Hartford Inc. for allowing us to utilize the light poles for this amazing project that recognizes the heroes closest to us! **

Hartford! Let's talk about what's coming up next - the Hartford Area Chamber of Commerce Block Party!!

But this year we're going BIG! In partnership with the City of Hartford, SD we're throwing the biggest bash in celebration of America's 250 AND Hartford's 130!

So let's talk details:

When: Friday, July 17, 2026 - 6pm-9pm
Where: Main Ave, Hartford, SD

What's happening???

All your Block Party favorites - Children's train, Midco is bringing the ice cream truck, we'll have all sort of vehicles, Central States Mfg, Inc. Hartford SD will be back with the backpacks too!

But this is no ordinary Block Party! This year -

We're providing a meal to the first 500 guests (more details to come), catered by The Goat Bar and Grill, there's face painting (it's all red, white, and blue this year!), and live entertainment from the Brass-holes.

And we're kicking the event off with none other than your West Central Marching Trojans playing the Star Spangled Banner, while the American Legion Post 118 presents the colors.

And we're ending the night with a BANG - no really, fireworks start at 9:00pm! Join us in celebrating our country and our community July 17th, 2026! More details still to come!
