It was a wonderful day for holiday shopping and artsy mingling, as well as an opportunity to raise both money and awareness for animal rescue.

We are proud to announce that, thanks to all of you, we raised nearly $2,500!

We can’t think of a more perfect holiday gift for an amazing organization that focuses on animal welfare within Hartford, CT… providing medical care, supporting families, and working to curb the cat overpopulation crisis. It may not be glamorous, but their positive effects are far-reaching within our community.

Iris Creek Farm

We are thrilled for a last-minute addition to the market…

Keri is shepardess to a flock of 34 heritage breed sheep consisting of Leicester Longwool, Teeswater and some crossbreds of both. All the products she brings to market are made from the wool these beautiful sheep produce.

Keri hand washes and dyes fleece for locks and hand carded batts. Some fleece is sent to local mills to be spun into yarn which then gets kettle dyed by hand back at the farm. Most of what is produced on the farm supplies fellow fiber artists. If there is something you’re looking for, or a particular color of something, reach out, she’s happy to customize.
