The semester started strong in Chemistry Department Seminar with a biophysics presentation from Prof. Megan Núñez, the Nan Walsh Schow ’54 and Howard B. Schow Professor in the Physical and Natural Sciences & Professor of Chemistry at Wellesley College. Prof. Núñez uses the behavior of DNA, including how damaged strands and bend, twist, and melt, to discover how DNA repair enzymes locate and recognize these lesions.
