Excited to announce the Hartford Public Library Summer Reading Challenge Kickoff! Join us this Saturday, June 6, from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Hartford Public Library (Downtown, 500 Main Street Terrace) for a fun-filled Summer Kickoff Run of Show. Come dive into a world of reading, learning, and community with:

- Welcoming remarks from local leaders
- Live performances: drum & dance, bubblemania
- 1:00–3:00 p.m.: Summer Kickoff Attractions (registrations, giveaways, VR mural tours, face painting, crafts, and more)
- Meet Miss Puerto Rico of Greater Hartford Queens & Princesses, along with Mickey Mouse, Cinderella, and Tiana
- Plenty of activities at Community Partner Tables on the Terrace

It's official! Today, the newly crowned 2026 Miss Puerto Rico of Greater Hartford Queens and Princesses have officially signed the agreement, embracing their responsibilities as Queens and Princesas.
