Pregnancy Centers are Under Attack in CT!
HOW TO SUBMIT WRITTEN TESTIMONY TO SUPPORT CT PREGNANCY CENTERS:
1) Send an email to [email protected]
2) In the subject line write “Testimony in opposition of S.B. No. 835”
3) Body of email example:
To Whom It May Concern,
Attached is my testimony in opposition of S.B. No. 835
Thank you, Your name
4) YOU MUST ATTACH YOUR TESTIMONY TO YOUR EMAIL (word or pdf). You may not put your testimony in the body of your email. It must be attached.
You can address the letter to the members of the Public Health Committee. You can also message individual members of the Committee as well, preferably those who are your city’s elected officials...

5) Let them know who you are and why you are opposing this bill. Be specific to the actual bill. The bill accuses all CT Pregnancy Centers of false advertising. The bill does not clearly state what they determine as “false advertising” accept that Pregnancy Centers do not provide abortions in their pregnancy support services. Let them know the truth about our centers and the good work we do. Speak from your experience, what you know, and also the simple facts of what anyone can see online from tour advertising.
6) Please be respectful and avoid words like “murder, kill,” when talking about abortion. Stick to the work of pregnancy centers and addressing the accusations of this bill. This is not an opportunity to talk about overturning Roe v. Wade.
