Urban Alliance is one of our trusted messenger grantees, sharing important information about Medicaid and SNAP coverage with the communities they serve.

Meet our grantees: Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation

CT Health funding supported the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Health Services in developing a health strategic plan.

They are now in the process of building a new health center that will expand access to care in the area. The health center will offer modern medical care and honor tribal traditions.

We were grateful to learn more about some of those traditions and the history of the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation!

Meet our grantees: Generations Family Health Center

This week, members of our team visited our trusted messenger grantee at their Willimantic office.

We got to hear directly from Matilde and Mike, community health workers who do critical work every day to help people in their communities access health coverage. They've built trust with the people they serve and help connect them to health care, SNAP, and other resources.

Matilde, Mike and the entire Generations team, we're so grateful for the work you do!
