The Commonwealth Fund's 2026 State Health Disparities Report is out now.

Connecticut ranks among the top states nationally for overall performance across racial and ethnic groups.

But compared to other New England states, Connecticut has more severe racial and ethnic health disparities.

Black residents face significantly worse health care outcomes, access, and quality, while white residents experienced the best outcomes.

This report is a reminder that there is still work to do to close these gaps.
