Thank you to everyone who joined us for an amazing day at CapFest 2026 🎉

From live music and dancing to local vendors, family activities, and community connections, Frog Hollow was full of energy all afternoon long. A special thank you to our performers, vendors, volunteers, and community partners, along with our sponsors: RTX, LAZ Parking, the Betty Knox Foundation, John Gale, RSCO - Greater Hartford Regional School Choice Office, Partnership for Strong Communities, Capitol Child Development Center, Emanuel Lutheran Church and the Melville Charitable Trust. Most of all, thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with us. You are what makes CapFest so special. We can't wait to see you next year! 🐸❤

We are so thrilled to have been selected by The New England Council to host an NEC Fellow this summer! The NEC Fellows Program provides funding to support summer interns working to advance the missions of nonprofit organizations throughout New England. Each year, just 12 organizations are selected—and we’re in great company.

Congrats to Connecticut Foodshare, Avesta Housing, Dempsey Center, Freedom House, Disability Rights Center NH, Meals on Wheels America, College Visions, PCF Development, Southern Vermont Arts Center, and the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants, and thanks so much to The New England Council for this opportunity.

We are pleased to announce the 12 nonprofit organizations selected to host a New England Council Fellow in 2026—two in each New England state.

Launched in 2025 as part of our centennial celebration, the NEC Fellows Program continues to grow, doubling in size this year to expand its impact across the region. Through this initiative, the Council provides funding to support summer interns working to advance the missions of nonprofit organizations throughout New England.

Congratulations to this year’s host organizations: , , , , , Disability Rights Center NH, , , , Southern Vermont Arts Center, U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants.

For decades, highways have divided neighborhoods and cut our city off from the Connecticut River. Our Hartford400 vision imagines a different future: reconnecting downtown, creating new parks and boulevards, and opening the riverfront to everyone. And, we're not the only ones who think that.. what do you think?
