Calling all Eagle Scouts, Scouts, and Scouting families.

The rank of Eagle Scout is earned once and held for life. It does not expire, and you are forever part of our community.

On November 12, Connecticut Rivers Council will honor our 2026 Class of Eagle Scouts and recognize all Eagle Scouts as part of America's 250th anniversary.

The Scouting community is bigger than any one troop or any one year. For more than a century, Scouting has brought young people together, teaching them to lead, to serve, and to look out for one another. And it does not stop at eighteen. Scouting builds America's leaders. Eagle Scouts have walked on the moon, served in Congress, built businesses, and led in towns across this country, including right here in Connecticut. For more than a century, they have helped carry America to 250.

Everyone in our community, past and present, is encouraged to attend.

Local businesses and supporters: sponsorships are now open for the Eagle Scout Dinner.

On November 12, Connecticut Rivers Council will honor our 2026 Class of Eagle Scouts and recognize all Eagle Scouts as part of America's 250th anniversary.

Every Eagle Scout from the Class of 2026 attends as our guest, and we're expecting nearly 150 from 2026 alone! Your sponsorship covers their dinners and advertises your company to Connecticut's next generation of leaders and the community that supports them..

Sponsorship levels:
⭐ Eagle $25,000: 2 tables of 8, podium mention, custom signage, website promotion, full-page ad
⭐ Fleur-de-Lis $15,000: 1 table of 8, podium mention, website promotion, full-page ad

Earning the rank of Eagle Scout requires years of merit badge work, leadership service, and a community service project with lasting impact. On November 12, as part of America's 250th anniversary, Connecticut Rivers Council will hold its largest Eagle Scout recognition event to date, honoring every Eagle Scout who has earned the rank, from this year's Class of 2026 to generations before them.

SAVE-THE-DATE ⛄

SAVE THE DATE! POLAR CUBS 2027 IS COMING! Calling all Cub Scouts and adventurous families! Get your boots, mittens, and Scout spirit ready because Polar Cubs Day Camp is returning to the June Norcross Webster Scout Reservation in Ashford, CT, for Winter 2027! Mark your calendars for Saturday, January 23 & Saturday, February 13, 2027, from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM, and prepare for winter adventures. From archery and winter outdoor games to fire building, winter crafts, nature exploration, and plenty of hot cocoa by the fire, there is something exciting for every Lion, Tiger, Wolf, Bear, Webelos, and Arrow of Light. Looking to extend the fun? Lunch is provided, and the event includes a mix of indoor and outdoor activities. Some units rent a cabin and make it an overnight! Registration is open, so tag your Pack leaders and fellow Scout parents in the comments below so no one misses out on the ultimate winter Scout event!

WEBELOS WOODS UPDATE – NEW DATE!

Due to the weather forecast for this weekend, Webelos Woods at Camp Workcoeman has been postponed to October 23–25!

While we're disappointed that we won't be gathering this weekend, we're excited to welcome everyone back in October for an outstanding weekend of Scouting, adventure, outdoor skills, and fun!

And there's some good news: registration is reopening!

If your Webelos or Arrow of Light Scout wasn't able to join us this weekend, the new date is another opportunity to experience Webelos Woods. New Scouts, families, and dens are welcome to register for October 23–25. See the registration link in the comments section.

Already registered? You're all set! Your registration will carry over to the new weekend. Those unable to attend the new date will be eligible for a full refund.

We'll see you at Camp Workcoeman October 23–25!
