Baby Bottle Drive starting THIS SUNDAY!! 🍼

This is one of the simplest ways to make a BIG impact!! Just fill a baby bottle with your spare change (or cash/checks), and you’re helping us serve families right here in our community.

We are currently looking for:
✨ Churches
✨ Businesses
✨ Families/Individuals
to partner with us and host bottles!

It may seem small, but those coins add up quickly and go directly toward providing support, education, and hope to the families we serve.

Want to get involved or have us drop off bottles?
Call or text (270)274-0111 or comment on this post!

Let’s fill bottles and change lives, together!!

The Beaver Dam Community Farmers Market is currently looking for vendors, especially produce growers, food trucks, musicians, and community sponsors for the 2026 season.

Our market runs from the last weekend of May through the last weekend of September and brings the community together each week to shop local, support small businesses, and enjoy time downtown.

Vendors and food trucks benefit from a steady flow of local shoppers and the opportunity to grow their customer base. Musicians help create the welcoming atmosphere that makes market mornings special.

We are also seeking community sponsors who want to support local agriculture, small businesses, and family friendly events while receiving recognition throughout the season.

If you are interested in participating this year, please reach out or plan to attend the vendor meeting Monday, March 16 at 6:00 PM at Beaver Dam City Hall.

Let’s make the 2026 season the best one yet!

Hey y’all just a quick reminder for our produce vendors and anyone planning to participate in the Kentucky Double Dollars program, Kentucky Farmers Market Nutrition Program, or WIC this season.

You MUST scan the QR code attached and complete your registration before April 1.

This step is required to be eligible to accept these benefits at the market so please don’t put it off. If you have any questions or need help getting registered just reach out to me and I’ll walk you through it.

As always we are still accepting ALL vendors but are especially in need of produce vendors so if you or someone you know has fresh produce to offer we would love to have you join us.

Let’s get you set up and ready for a great season ahead!

Time to plant your lettuce 🥬🥬 🕛

Growing Kentucky lettuce is all about the timing! Since lettuce loves the cooler temperatures of the Bluegrass State, aim to plant early in the spring.

For more tips on growing lettuce, contact your local county Extension office.
