Hartford Food Not Bombs

Hartford Food Not Bombs Meanwhile the number of people who experience hunger and food insecurity continues to grow. We are not a charity.

For over 30 years, Hartford Food Not Bombs has shared free public meals every Sunday between 3:30-5pm in Bushnell Park in downtown Hartford to protest war, capitalism, and hunger. When: Every Sunday around 3 PM

Where: Near the carousel in Bushnell Park, Hartford

Why: Over 50% of the food produced in the United States is wasted each year. Food Not Bombs is a worldwide movement that recovers perfe

ctly safe and edible food that would otherwise be thrown out and redistributes it in our communities. For 20 years Hartford Food Not Bombs has shared free public meals every week to protest war, poverty and hunger. Volunteers come together under the simple concept that food is a right, not a privilege. How: For more information or to get involved email us at [email protected]
