Connecticut Association of Directors of Health CADH’s vision is one of exceptional health and well being in all Connecticut communities. CADH has since grown to be supported by a diverse staff.

The Connecticut Association of Directors of Health (CADH) began in the 1960’s as a membership organization run entirely by volunteers. It provided a forum for local health directors to come together to share local public health practices and to address issues of mutual interest. CADH incorporated in Connecticut in 1996 and hired its first and current Executive Director in 2002.
