The National Urban League 2026 State of Black of America® Report is here! This is the 50th Anniversary of the report, started in 1976 under the leadership Vernon Jordan, the organization’s fifth president. Regarded as an anticipated benchmark and source for thought leadership around racial equality in America, this years report examines how over the course of 250 years, each attempt to guarantee every American the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness has been met with racism, social violence, and political retrenchment. Yet, even with that, the League charts a way forward, aligning with the growing resistance across courtrooms, classrooms, boardrooms, and statehouses and leaning in on its proven model for inclusive economic mobility in the face of any obstacle-- education, employment, housing, health, and justice.

Stronger communities are built through consistent opportunities to move, connect, and invest in one another. 🌟

That was the vision behind the 2026 Urban League of Greater Hartford Young Professionals Games.

Five teams came together for a day centered on movement, teamwork, and connection, with PYVOT ultimately earning the championship.

As the Official Community Wellness Co-Collaborators, Dilligence Training and .cares were proud to partner with the Urban League of Greater Hartford Young Professionals to sponsor and facilitate the games.

The impact extended beyond the activities. The YP Games created an engaging space for community organizations, leaders, professionals, and families to connect while prioritizing movement and preventive wellness.

This is what community wellness looks like.
This is prevention in action.
This is how stronger communities are built.

Thank you to the Urban League of Greater Hartford Young Professionals and everyone who helped bring this experience to life.
