National Latina Equal Pay Day may fall on October 8th this year, but the fight for equal pay continues every day!

In recognition of Latina Equal Pay Day, the Alpha Beta Alumnae Chapter of Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Inc. stands in solidarity with Latinas advocating for economic equity.

Latinas earn approximately 53 cents for every dollar earned by white, non-Hispanic men, contributing to more than $1 million in lost wages over a 40-year career.

Our contributions, leadership, and hard work deserve equal recognition and compensation. Closing the wage gap isn't just about pay—it's about opportunity, financial security, and generational wealth.

Our work has value. Our voices have power. Our future deserves equity.
