The Chandelier Ballroom (originally known as the Schwartz Ballroom) is owned and operated by the Hartford Historic Preservation Foundation a non-profit, 501C(3) tax-exempt organization. The Ballroom is listed on both the State and National Register of Historic Places and is an important part of the history of Hartford. Andrew Schwartz is responsible for the vision and construction of the Schwartz
Ballroom. The HHPF is restoring the Schwartz Mansion and hopes to return it to its original grandeur. We are working to also get this property on both the State and National Register of Historic Places and are accepting donations for projects such as the restoration of the original hardwood floors, HVAC work, landscaping, installation of a new parking lot and exterior lighting, furniture, kitchen and master bathroom restoration. Currently, the Ballroom is utilized year round bringing together families and friends from all over the state of Wisconsin and beyond for weddings, dances, charity dinner auctions, proms, social events and more. The HHPF hopes to utilize the Schwarz Mansion as an Inn for guests of the Chandelier Ballroom. Both of these properties are truly wonderful structures filled with decades of precious memories for people of all ages and we cannot be responsible for letting these delicate pieces of history crumble in our hands. Please consider a thoughtful donation to the Hartford Historic Preservation Foundation to ensure the continuation of the Chandelier Ballroom and the Schwartz Mansion.
