Our Youth Mental Health & Growing Up Digital Community Conversation started with an idea from our youth: create a space for young people and adults to come together for honest conversations about youth mental health and their experiences growing up in a digital world.

From an idea sparked by youth to a room filled with community, this is what it looks like when young people’s voices shape the conversation. ✨

North Hartford Ascend Affiliate, UConn HNS is improving health equity through nutrition, sport, education, and community partnerships. 🍽🤝

Their Husky Reads program brings together literacy and healthy eating by introducing preschoolers to movement, healthy habits, and food groups with reading aloud and themed activities. 📖

At Fred D. Wish Museum School, UConn HNS uses sports and food to build relationships, create belonging, and support youth development. 🏃

Together, these programs show how UConn HNS brings learning, movement, nutrition, and community into the everyday lives of children and families. 💚
