🌟 Still feeling the energy from Next250 Town Hall!

Our leadership joined an incredible gathering on March 18 at Hartford's Lyceum Center—where community, creativity, and youth voices came together powerfully.

This is what happens when young people have platforms to lead and create. 💙

Join us in celebrating the transformative power of education and its vital role in building peace, eradicating poverty, and driving sustainable development. Together, we’re nurturing the next generation of visionary leaders who will change our world.

Today, on International Migrants Day, Girls of Color Leadership Academy celebrates the resilience, strength, and invaluable contributions of migrants to our communities. The 2025 theme "My Great Story: Cultures and Development" reminds us that every migrant's journey represents possibility and cultural enrichment.

Our mission to empower Black girls and immigrants through leadership development is only possible thanks to our incredible partners: The Community Foundation for Greater New Haven and Graustein Memorial Fund. Your support helps us create pathways for girls of color to thrive and lead with confidence.

Join us in honoring the diverse stories that strengthen our society. When migration is managed safely and strategically, it becomes a powerful force for positive change.

We're proud to announce that our Girls of Color Leadership Academy delegation attended the 7th Annual Yale Environmental Joy Congress last week, an inspiring event focused on "Environmental Joy: Writing the Future" at Yale School of the Environment , where global leaders shared strategies for advancing sustainability through community empowerment.

Our young leaders engaged in discussions about sustainable infrastructure, economics, spiritual approaches, and decision-making—all crucial areas for creating the environmental future we want to see.

This experience has empowered them with new perspectives and connections to bring back to our community!
