November 16 – “Stephen Garrow Reflection,” 1 p.m., Artistree, 2095 Pomfret Road, South Pomfret, VT. Stephen will reflect on his life as a young boy working on two farms in South Pomfret. These include the Maxham farm on Barber Hill Road and the former dairy farm where Artistree now stands near Teago General Store. He is excited to be returning to the beautifully restored barn at Artistree where he worked some years ago. He is now 92 and has written two books which will be available for signing.

2025 Trip with the Green Mountain Civil War Roundtable

Would like to share our plans with you for our 2025 CW Journey. This year we will be visiting the Flight 93 Memorial in Shanksville PA, Historic Bedford PA, take an in depth look at the Antietam Campaign with guide Brad Gottfried, enjoy a behind the scenes visit to the Gettysburg Cyclorama, and have some free time in Gettysburg. Our base of operations will be the Best Western Hotel in Gettysburg. Final cost will be based on RT deluxe motorcoach transportation via Premier Coach, with pick up and drop off in Rutland and WRJct, 4 nights hotel room based on double occupancy (single rooms available at an additional cost), breakfast each day of our tour, 3 lunches, 3 dinners, all guide and admission fees, information packet, onboard refreshments and entertainment. All are welcome regardless of your level of knowledge. The more the merrier! I do not have a final cost per person as yet, I am hoping the cost will be less than $900 per person and will depend on our final head count. Deadline to sign up is March 20th, that is our make-or-break date.

Feel free to share our information to anyone that might be interested in joining us. Trip deposit is $75 per person, checks made payable to GMCWRT and mailed to me, Gail Blake, 55 Orizzonto Road WRJct VT 05001. Questions, concerns, suggestions? Email me at [email protected], call 802-296-2919 or 802-291-3413, if I don't answer leave a message and I will get back to you

Thanks for your time!
