As the seasons change, the Outdoor Campus trails become a great place to spot both our year-round feathered friends and birds passing through on their fall migration.

Join our naturalists on Saturday, September 26, from 10:00–11:30 AM for a morning of exploring the trails, looking for birds, and learning a little more about the species we might encounter along the way.

Looking for a fun way to introduce your little one to fishing? Fishing with the Littles is back at the Outdoor Campus–Sioux Falls on Thursday, September 17!

This shortened fishing class is designed with our youngest anglers in mind. We’ll keep things basic, fun, and hands-on. Perfect for little ones with shorter attention spans and the parents, grandparents, or babysitters who bring them along. 🐟

A young hunting dog’s first season is about more than bringing home game. It’s about building confidence, creating positive experiences, and developing the partnership between dog and handler.

Join professional dog trainer, avid hunter and outdoor educator Sami Jo Strutz for a practical session on what to realistically expect from a young hunting dog, common challenges you may encounter in the field and tips for setting both you and your dog up for success. Whether it’s your first hunt with a new dog or you’re looking to make the most of their first season, you’ll leave with realistic expectations and tools you can use for years to come.
