Family Business’ 2024 Thanksgiving Meal Program was a success, serving fully prepared meals to TWENTY local families this past Thanksgiving 🦃🥧 We want to extend a huge thank you to Wallingford Rotary Club, and for their generosity! And THANK YOU to our volunteers Eric Carbone, Maddie Valencia, and Shawn Reilly for donating their time to help with delivery, preparation, and clean up! This operation wouldn’t be possible without all of you!

🎉 A heartfelt THANK YOU to Kevin for raising an incredible $28,100 for Family Business by running the Hartford Half Marathon! 💙 We are beyond grateful for Kevin’s dedication and generosity, as well as the contributions from his friends, family, and his employer, Granite Telecommunications, whose support made this possible.

100% of the funds raised will go directly back to children and families in need through Family Business’s initiatives.

Kevin ran this race in memory of his father, Frank Bednarz, and mother-in-law, Judy Johansen, who each bravely fought cancer. Their courage, unwavering love for family, and strength during their battles continue to inspire us. Kevin’s incredible effort honors their legacy and ensures their spirit lives on.

On October 19th, Kevin Bednarz will run the Hartford Half Marathon to raise funds for Family Business, in honor of his father, Frank, and mother-in-law Judy, who always showed unwavering love and support for those around them. One hundred percent of the funds raised will go directly to the community through our various initiatives. We are so grateful for Kevin's support, not only in raising funds to support our community efforts but for his and his family's dedication to volunteering with Family Business.

Family Business would like to thank everyone who participated in our 2023 Adopt-A-Family program! We raised over $8,500 dollars thanks to our generous donors, family teams, and local businesses. 100% of funds raised went directly to families providing children with toys and clothing and parents with household essentials, grocery gift cards, and bill pay. We would like to give a special thanks to for hosting hosting our wrapping party!

We are so grateful to be able to run our Thanksgiving Meal Program for another year! Thanks to a generous donation from the Wallingford Rotary Club, we were able to provide 22 families with warm, homemade, Thanksgiving dinners. We would like to thank Back 9 Social for preparing these delicious meals and the teachers from Mary G. Fritz for delivering meals to families on Thanksgiving Day!
