We are sorry to inform our Lions friends that our summer concerts will not happen this year. The city received a grant to make improvements in Ely Park so the park is going to be closed for a good part of the summer. There is also a major water /street project on Main Street that will stop traffic in front of the park. While we are looking forward to the improvements, we are disappointed that we will not be having concerts. We look forward to the 2027 summer when the park will be open and the sound of music will once again bring our friends back to enjoyable evenings in the park.

Many thanks to the volunteers that helped pack and distribute Christmas food boxes to the residents of our two senior apartment complexes today. A big thank you to the Middle School Honor Society, Miss Hartford and Mr Hartford and their courts, and volunteers from the Hartford Fire Department. Very special thanks also to the Food Pantry volunteers who tirelessly worked along side us and pitched in where needed to get the delivery completed quickly. Last but not least thanks to the Bonna Vanderlyn Trust for its continued support of the community she loved.

Thursday in Ely Park! Thanks to the City of Hartford and the Downtown Development Authority for their generous sponsorship to our concerts. Also a big thank you to the HPD reserves that joined us at each concert this year! We look forward to having new upgrades to the pavilion and bathrooms at concerts in the future!

Don't forget! The Stranded Hobos will be in the park tonight! Bring your lawn chair and enjoy an evening us. We want to thank the Hartford Department of Public Works for always having the park and bathrooms clean and ready for us. See you at 7 tonight in Ely Park!

Come join us tonight in welcoming the Otsego Jazz Ensemble to Hartford 's Ely Park. A new group of 18+ musicians, they promise to bring us their love of music in fun ways. We'll have the popcorn and water and the ice cream truck will be there if ice cream is your pleasure. Bring your chair and enjoy the outdoors. Hope you can join us

Looking forward to hearing a new group Thursday evening! The Otsegp Jazz Ensemble will bring about 18 musicians into our park for our listening enjoyment! Come join us. The weather is supposed to to be a little cooler and it is a good time to get out and enjoy the fresh air! Hope to see you there!
