And just like that… we’re closed.
Boy, that came up fast. I was totally fine — until we shut the doors on the Fourth of July. Oof… then the tears came for real.

Standing in this now mostly empty space, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude. What an honor it’s been to be part of this amazing little corner of Downtown Hartford. The memories, the laughs, the music, the smoothies, the friendships, the games. And let’s be honest… it wasn’t all fun and games. There were definitely some “those who know, KNOW” moments 😅 — but gosh, overall, it was just awesome.

This chapter is closing, and I know deep down it’s the right time. I’m at peace with that… but still, there’s sadness too. You know what I mean?

If someone out there has even a tiny tug on their heart to do something like this — do it. Go for it. I’m cheering you on, and I’ll help however I can. Truly.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for the kind words, the encouragement, the prayers for Chris and our family. We are so incredibly grateful for each and every one of you. ❤️

⭐️⭐️ UPDATE TO OUR UPDATE….We’ll be open 1 - ? on the 4th of July! We ran out of cups but if you bring your own cup, mason jar, vase or anything that will hold a smoothie, we’ll whip one up for you! Can’t wait to see ya on the 4th!!!!⭐️UPDATE- and just like that we’re “sold” out! That was ridiculously quick!!! THANK YOU HARTFORD!!

We’re hitting the streets this afternoon, dropping off FREE smoothies and drinks to our favorite downtown businesses — just a little surprise to say THANK YOU for 4 ahhh-mazing years! 🥳🍓

We’re also OPEN and handing out free drinks (while supplies last!) because honestly… what better way to celebrate than with smoothies and smiles? 🥤💕

🌿 A Note From Bridges 120 🌿

As many of you know, we’ve been preparing to close our doors this summer—a bittersweet decision that allows me to step away and be home with Chris as he continues his battle with cancer. 💚

Our last day will be Friday, July 4, and after that, will be taking over our space.

👉 From now until we close, we’ll be open Wednesdays through Fridays from 11 AM to 4 PM, and all orders will be by donation only—as a heartfelt thank you to the community that has supported us so beautifully these past almost 4 years.

Your donations will help us close well and allow us to keep doing what we love most in these final days: loving on our community the way you’ve loved on us.

💛 We are endlessly grateful for the stories, friendships, and memories you’ve helped build here. It’s been a joy and an honor to be a part of your lives.

Meet our newest Toy Quality Control Specialist at Bridges!
Cami takes her role very seriously—each block, puzzle piece, and plastic donut has been thoroughly tested (and maybe taste-tested too).

Our HR department insists this is a vital volunteer position, and honestly… we think we found the best candidate in all of Hartford!
Totally unbiased opinion, of course.

I swear The Mill out does themselves each year! We LOVE Block Party day!! Nothing but fun and community!! Make sure to put a reminder in your phone, to come on down!!

Your kids are gonna flip (literally) for our MASSIVE inflatable slide that's taller than your morning coffee anxiety! ☕️➡️🛝

Think you can take down your 8-year-old in basketball? Think again! Our inflatable shooting court is where dreams go to get destroyed by tiny humans. 🏀

And let's talk skee ball - because nothing says "I'm a fun parent" like getting absolutely DESTROYED by your kid's skee ball skills while other parents judge your form. 🎳

BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE! We're turning our street into an 18-hole mini golf paradise! Nothing says "neighborhood takeover" like dodging windmills and trying to explain to your spouse why you're taking mini golf so seriously. ⛳️

Three inflatables + street mini golf = One epic afternoon of watching adults realize they're not as athletic as they thought they were AND that they have zero chill when it comes to getting a hole-in-one.

Craving Puebla's Kitchen tacos like my life depended on it… but I couldn’t leave the shop today because I’m flying solo behind the counter.

BIG UPDATE from your Bridges fam!

We’re officially back in the groove with new and improved summer hours:
Tuesday–Saturday, 11 AM–5 PM!

We’ve got a solid plan in place for Chris’s cancer treatment (thank you to ALL of you for the prayers, messages, hugs, and support ), and with a few more volunteers stepping in, we’re feeling more ready than sunscreen on a Wisconsin kid in July.

Real talk: May has been a bit of a dumpster fire for business. Between inconsistent hours, medical appointments, and a lot of emotions (the ugly cry kind AND the healing kind), things are just tough. But you all showed up with kindness and grace while we figured out a treatment plan—and now we’re ready for the summer!

So here's how you can help:
Come see us! Bring a friend! Tell your neighbor! Tell your barista at that other coffee shop!
Let’s get the good word out that Bridges is OPEN through the end of July and ready to serve up your favorite summer drinks.
