The Connecticut National Guard Foundation Inc Announces
Scholarship Recipients for 2026 – 2027 Academic Year
The Connecticut National Guard Foundation, Inc is pleased to announce it has awarded scholarships to the following recipients for the 2026 - 2027 academic year.
Glasper, Jayden: Jayden is the son of CMSgt Christina Glasper, 103rd Logistics Readiness Squadron, CT Air National Guard. He lives in Plainville, CT and is a 2026 graduate of Bristol Central High School. This Fall he will be attending Eastern Connecticut State University, pursuing a Bachelor’s of Science in Physical Therapy. His career goals include a career in physical therapy, with his ultimate goal of earning a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and working with college-level athletes who are recovering from injuries.
Martin, Aubrey: Aubrey is the daughter of CSM John Martin, 1109th TASMG and MSG Jacqueline Martin, JFHQ, CT Army National Guard. She lives in Norwich, CT, and is a 2026 graduate of Norwich Free Academy. This Fall she will be attending Wesleyan University, majoring in biology. Her long-term goal is to be accepted into a veterinary medical program, earn a doctorate degree, and then work to improve animal welfare.
Purdue, Kylie: Kylie is the daughter of SFC(Retired) Michael Purdue, former member of the 102d Infantry Regiment, CT Army National Guard. Kylie lives in Enfield, CT and is a 2026 graduate of Enfield High School. She has been accepted to attend Boston University this Fall, pursuing a degree in engineering, with her ultimate goal of becoming an Aerospace Engineer.
Sfakios, Allen: SPC Allen M. Sfakios, RSP, 6th Recruiting and Retention Battalion, CT Army National Guard, lives in Oakdale, CT. He is currently attending Eastern CT State University, but in the Spring of 2027, he will be a student at the University of Connecticut, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. As an Army National Guard officer candidate his long-term goal upon commissioning is to join the Army Nurse Corps and ultimately continue his education through the Uniformed Services University, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist program.
Sisic Hamza: Senior Airman Hamza Sisic, 103rd Airlift Wing, CT Air National Guard, serves as a Tactical Aircraft Mechanic. He lives in Wethersfield, CT, and is currently attending Central Connecticut State University pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology. In addition to his studies at CCSU, he is also a flight training student at Interstate Aviation, Inc in Plainville CT. His long-term goal after graduating college is to become a pilot in the CT Air National Guard.
Tozier, Katrina: Katrina is the daughter of CW4(Retired) David W. Tozier, 1109th TASMG, CT Army National Guard. She lives in East Haddam, CT, and is a student at Merrimack College, pursuing a degree in Business Administration and a minor in Biology. Her long-term plans include continuing her education with a Master of Science in Management and an MBA at Merrimack College, all intended to support her career in biotechnology or healthcare fields.
SGT Felix M. Del Greco, Jr Memorial Scholarship(s)
The purpose of the SGT Felix M. Del Greco, Jr. Scholarship is to honor SGT Del Greco’s memory by awarding annual scholarship(s) to children of Connecticut Army National Guard members who are attending an accredited undergraduate degree program.
Caron, Tyler: Tyler is the son of SFC Raymond Caron, HHD 85th Trp Cmd, CT Army National Guard. Tyler is a Junior at The Citadel, Military College of South Carolina.
Martin, Aubrey: Aubrey is the daughter of CSM John Martin, 1109th TASMG and MSG Jacqueline Martin, JFHQ, CT Army National Guard. This Fall she will be attending Wesleyan University, majoring in biology.
