Meet Jaspurr – The Grumpiest Guy in Town!
If you're looking for a cat who's going to throw himself into your arms on day one, Jaspurr would like to respectfully inform you that he's not interested.
Estimated to be around 4½ years old, Jaspurr is a distinguished gentleman with adorable mitten toes and the unique distinction of being front declawed. He shares space with other cats at the shelter just fine, but he's more of a "keep to myself and mind my own business" kind of fellow.
Jaspurr isn't afraid to let you know exactly how he feels. New people are often greeted with a hiss, a grumble, or his famous "please respect my personal space" expression. But for the patient adopter willing to earn his trust, there's a softer side hidden beneath that grouchy exterior.
The key to Jaspurr's heart? Letting him set the rules. Affection is welcome—but only when he decides it's time. Once he feels comfortable, he'll allow pets and companionship on his terms, and those little victories make the relationship all the more rewarding.
