📣 **SAVE THE DATE! 4-H ASSOCIATION & FAIR BOARD MEETINGS**

📅 Monday, November 9
📍 FFA/Jr. Leader Building

We have **4 OPEN POSITIONS on the 4-H Fair Board!** 🎉 Interested in getting involved, helping plan for the fair, and supporting our 4-H community? We’d love to see you there!

🕡 **6:30–7:30 PM:** Volunteer Training with Kyli (for those who need it)
🕢 **7:30–8:00 PM:** 4-H Association Meeting
🕗 **8:00 PM:** Fair Board Meeting (continues until adjourned)

⚠️ **IMPORTANT VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS**

To vote at either meeting and/or join the Fair Board, you MUST be a fully approved 4-H volunteer before the meeting!

✅ Online volunteer enrollment opens November 1.
✅ You must complete the online application process and receive approval before November 9.
✅ Need volunteer training? Kyli will offer training from 6:30–7:30 PM on November 9.

**Please plan ahead!** Attending the training does not replace the online application and approval process. You must be fully enrolled, trained, AND approved before the meeting to be eligible to vote or join the Fair Board.

Enrollment for the 2026–2027 4-H program year will open November 1, 2026! 🍀

We know many of you are already looking ahead to the new 4-H year, and we’re excited to get things underway!

Indiana 4-H is using this extra time to get everything in place so families have what they need when enrollment opens.

We appreciate your patience as we prepare for another great year of 4-H! 🍀

Help Casey's and 4-H build brighter futures for young people!
⬆ Through October 11: Round up your purchase at Casey's to donate to 4-H.
📲 Through October 31: Add a donation to any order made online or in the Casey’s app.
Casey's will match guest donations up to $150,000. Every contribution helps more young people access opportunities that prepare them to be .

Reminder: Foods and Garden/Herb exhibits must be at the office by 9 AM on Monday, August 10, if you would like the Extension Office to transport them to the state fair!

📣 State Fair Exhibit Drop-Off Reminder! 🏆🎡

If your 4-H’er has a project going to the Indiana State Fair, don’t forget to get your exhibit to the Extension Office by the appropriate deadline!

📌 Friday, July 31 by 4:00 p.m.
All exhibits except Foods and Garden/Herb

📌 Monday, August 10 by 9:00 a.m.
Foods and Garden/Herb exhibits

If your project is being transported by your family, you will be responsible for getting it to the State Fair and will need to pick up your State Fair project check-in tag from the Extension Office.

One of the greatest measures of 4-H's success isn't just what happens during a member's 10 years in the program. It's what happens afterward. Watching Blackford County 4-H alumni continue to pursue careers in agriculture, promote the values of 4-H, and give back by mentoring and encouraging the next generation is what it's all about!

We're proud to see former members like Nick Aulbach continuing to make an impact. Once a 4-H'er, always a 4-H'er. 💚🍀
