🎶💦 A few more Mini 4-H Camp memories! 💦🎶

The photos are great, but they don’t quite capture all the fun we had this week! Here are a few videos of our campers singing camp songs and having a blast during our water relay race today!

🇺🇸❤️🤍💙 That’s a wrap on Mini 4-H Camp 2026! ❤️🤍💙🇺🇸

We had an amazing final day of camp! Our Mini 4-H’ers finished their projects, made patriotic windsock flags, played Patriotic Bingo, competed in a water relay race, sang camp songs, enjoyed Patriot Popsicles, and took our final group photos. We wrapped up the week with pizza, red, white, and blue cake pops, and lots of smiles!

Each camper headed home with a goody bag filled with items to help them get ready for the Blackford County 4-H Fair and the upcoming 4th of July holiday! ❤️🤍💙

A huge thank you to my camp counselors in grades 9–12 and my wonderful impromptu mini counselors in grades 4–6. Your patience, enthusiasm, and willingness to jump in and help made this week so special for our campers. I couldn’t have done it without you!

Thank you to all of our families for sharing your kids with us this week. It was an incredible three days filled with learning, creativity, friendship, and fun. We can’t wait to see everyone at the fair! 🍀✨🇺🇸

🇺🇸⭐ Day 2 of Mini 4-H Camp was another fun-filled day! ⭐🇺🇸

Today our campers designed their own Indiana license plates, explored America’s beauty through a National Park scavenger hunt, created stained glass-inspired crafts, made patriotic discovery bottles, and enjoyed plenty of games and activities with friends!

We packed a lot of learning, creativity, and fun into another great day of camp! We can’t believe tomorrow is already our final day. We’re excited to make a few more memories before Mini 4-H Camp comes to an end! ❤️🤍💙🍀

🇺🇸🎆 Mini 4-H Camp Day 1 was a blast! 🎆🇺🇸

Our mini campers kicked off three days of patriotic fun today as we celebrated all things America!

Today our campers tested their knowledge with state trivia, learned camp songs, created their own USA visors, started their fireworks-themed Mini 4-H projects, played kickball (or stayed inside to make slime), and enjoyed lots of games and laughter with new friends!

From showing off their creativity to learning about our country and building teamwork skills, our Mini 4-H’ers packed a whole lot of fun into one day!

We can’t wait to see what adventures Day 2 brings tomorrow! ❤️🤍💙🍀

🌿🐒 Our 3rd–6th grade campers had an amazing time at Area VII 4-H Camp this week with our "Welcome to the Jungle" theme!

Throughout camp, youth explored their creativity through arts and crafts, tackled hands-on STEM activities, learned healthy living skills, and made new friends from across the region. From exciting adventures to lots of laughter, campers created memories that will last long after camp is over!

We are so proud of the way our Blackford County 4-H'ers represented themselves, their county, and 4-H this week. Thank you to all of our campers, counselors, volunteers, and staff who helped make camp such a success! 💚🍀

🚨 FAIRENTRY DEADLINE REMINDER 🚨

Today, June 1, is the FairEntry deadline for the Blackford County 4-H Fair!

All 4-H members must enter their projects and classes in FairEntry by the end of the day (11:59 PM) to be eligible to participate in the fair.

Please do not assume your projects were automatically entered. Be sure to log in and verify that all of your entries have been submitted successfully. If you're unsure, give us a call or send us an email, and we are happy to check for you!

🚨 Livestock Entry Deadline Reminder! 🚨

Reminder to all 4-H livestock families: ALL livestock entries (excluding rabbits and poultry) must be entered in 4-H Online by TOMORROW, May 15, at 11:59 PM to be eligible to show at both the Blackford County 4-H Fair and the Indiana State Fair.

This deadline is set by the state, and no late entries can be accepted.

Please do not wait until the last minute in case you run into technical issues with 4-H Online.

If you have questions, please contact the Extension Office (765-348-3213) before the end of the business day tomorrow. If you need assistance after hours, our educator will be monitoring email throughout the evening and can be reached at [email protected].
