Amazing news! Our sober living ministry, Elevate Oceana, is taking the next step. We currently have two homes and lease a third for men and women struggling with addiction. We also own the old funeral home on State Street, which one day will become the central hub for the ministry. That home had a fire, and has been partially restored. The exterior is complete, the new roof is on, windows are in, and the inside is gutted. We have finished the work that can be done by volunteers, now we need professionals. Being such a huge house (5000+ square feet) the cost to finish the inside is $290,000. Through very generous donations at the end of the year we are half way there and were able to let the contractor start putting this amazing home back together. Plumbing and electrical will be next, followed by insulation and drywall. Please join us in celebrating everything that is going on in Oceana County, and the lives that are being changed through this ministry. God is moving and we get a front row seat to see it!
