37 men braved the storm to come fellowship and listen to a story of the kind of restoration only Jesus can make happen. What an amazing night! Thank you to all the men who came out. Crazy man Eric Baker came all the way from Muskegon! You rock bro!

Amazing news! Our sober living ministry, Elevate Oceana, is taking the next step. We currently have two homes and lease a third for men and women struggling with addiction. We also own the old funeral home on State Street, which one day will become the central hub for the ministry. That home had a fire, and has been partially restored. The exterior is complete, the new roof is on, windows are in, and the inside is gutted. We have finished the work that can be done by volunteers, now we need professionals. Being such a huge house (5000+ square feet) the cost to finish the inside is $290,000. Through very generous donations at the end of the year we are half way there and were able to let the contractor start putting this amazing home back together. Plumbing and electrical will be next, followed by insulation and drywall. Please join us in celebrating everything that is going on in Oceana County, and the lives that are being changed through this ministry. God is moving and we get a front row seat to see it! Thank you to the Base Camp men for your support throughout.

Looking forward to seeing everyone tonight.
A special surprise as Terry is providing our meal. It is a surprise because I don't know what he is making. :) Never been before? Stop in at the Heritage Wedding Barn around 6:45 for a meal and a group of amazing men. Brotherhood at it's best!

Great night at Basecamp tonight! Dave Hovingh knocked it out of the park. He also shared this amazing article. For all my Christian brothers that might need some encouragement I highly recommend this read.

Cities crumble when men are brutal toward the weak — and when men fail to act like men.

Our second ever speaker. I had the chance to spend some time with him several times including a great talk at an Iron Sharpens Iron event. Wonderful man with a true heart for Christ. You will be missed my friend.

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our dear brother, Dave "Mac" McIntyre. On Friday, November 22nd, Mac was called home and was found unresponsive in his bed. While our hearts ache at his absence, we take comfort in knowing that Mac went to sleep here and woke up in the presence of our loving Savior.

Mac's impact on Set Free was immeasurable, leaving a legacy that will indeed echo into eternity. He served with a heart full of faith, kindness, and devotion to God. His memory will remain a light in our community.

Mac is survived by his beloved daughters Erin (husband, John Hunley) and Karina, his son Daniel, and his precious grandchildren Zoe and Matthias. Our prayers and love are with them during this difficult time. While we await the official cause of death, we rejoice in the assurance that Mac is now in the glory of God's presence, free from pain and filled with everlasting joy.

As we grieve, we cling to the promise of Jesus:
"Jesus said to her, 'I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die.'" – John 11:25-26

Mac's life was a testimony to this hope, and we trust that he is now experiencing its fullness.

Thank you for joining us in remembering and honoring Mac. Please keep his family in your prayers, and may we all find comfort in the grace of our Lord.

(We’ll update you on funeral arrangements as they become available.)
