10/10/26, 2:00 PM - With ❄️freezing❄️ temperatures just around the corner, now is a great time to donate liquid items to the Harsens Island Blessing Box at Browne's Field. Soups, sauces, juice, shelf-stable milk and other liquid essentials are especially welcome before the cold weather sets in.

❤️ Thank you for your generosity!

WOW! Look at what your generosity has done! 🥰

Our donation shelf is filling up, and we are so incredibly thankful for EVERY SINGLE DONATION! 🙏

Every can, box, package, and item makes a difference. What started as a need in our community is turning into something truly amazing because people are stepping up to help. ❤️

THANK YOU to everyone who has donated, shared, helped, or simply cared enough to ask what was needed.

We appreciate you more than you know! 🥰🙏❤️

This is what community looks like. ❤️

🚨 BLESSING BOX WASP WARNING & UPDATE 🚨

We found active wasps around the Blessing Box and have sprayed it thoroughly with foaming wasp killer. We are hoping that takes care of the problem and that all the wasps are gone.
Please use caution when approaching the Blessing Box. If you see any wasps around it again, please contact Jennifer Weaver at 248-467-6744 so we can take care of it right away.

A special thank you to the person who put up the warning sign to let everyone know about the wasps. We truly appreciate you looking out for others and helping keep everyone safe! ❤️
We definitely do not want anyone getting stung again!

Thank you for helping us keep the Blessing Box safe for everyone in our community. 🙏

JULY 18, 8:30pm - BEFORE & AFTER

The Blessing Box was restocked today with food, personal care items, and hope for anyone who may need a helping hand. Together, we can keep this little box full and remind our community that no one has to face hard times alone. 💙

(PS - Just like your mailbox, please be careful of wasp activity. You can see on the top shelf in the corner of one of the pictures there's a mud wasp nest - but all clear now!)

I want to thank everyone who came out last night to Suzy's Bar Hamtramck for the Queen of Apostles Soup Kitchen fundraiser. We had a great turnout for a fantastic cause.

Thanks so much for turning out on a Tuesday night and showing your love and support:)
