After having a few weeks to reflect on this amazing trip, words can't describe how much this trip meant to us personally as well as an organization. We wanted to do this post immediately after the team left, but we needed time to process the weeks events to be able to put words to our emotions. These girls hosted five basketball camps where over 200 young kids from Puerto Rico attended.
Connections were made that will last lifetime. Thank you to the for all your hard work and effort this week.

Last week kicked off our 2024 summer mission with our dear friends from Owensboro KY and Vinita OK. This team continued work at the elementary school Escuela Lydia Melendez. The cool thing about this week… our LYNC8 team was comprised of teachers and school administrators who were here in PR taking care of the teachers and administrators of this elementary school. Not only did this team clean, pressure wash, scrap, paint, and move files/furniture, they were able to work side by side with the teachers getting to know them and about the students who attend this school. It was such a blessing to serve such a dedicated group who work tirelessly to improve the lives of the kiddos they teach!

FCA is kicking off our 2024 mission season! We are working with a local school, Escuela Lydia Melendez, in Aguada, providing sports clinics to the kids of the school. It’s been an amazing start to the week, teaching about Jesus and sports!

Y’all, I’ve been behind on posting…I’m going to get up to speed with all the happenings in PR, there’s still a lot of work going on!

July 8-15, we hosted the second team from .az. The ladies teamed up to get our community laundry room scrapped, pressure washed, and painted! (There’s a before and after picture posted☺️) I’m excited to say that the laundry room is ready for the next phase, electricity. Once installed, we can move towards getting the washers and dryers installed!

These ladies also helped organize our tool room, as well as pressure wash and clean other portions of the school. Oh, and we got to see a big pig along the way 🐷🐽
