If you see the park looking extra fresh lately… you can thank some pretty awesome volunteers (and a special guest)!
They showed up ready to WORK—pressure washing, clearing debris from the tree removal, picking up trash, cleaning bathrooms, and tackling sticks and trash all across the park.
It wasn’t glamorous work, but it sure made a big impact. We are so thankful for each and every one of you! 💚🌳

We have so much planned for 2026! If you are interested in what we are up to come to our next meeting Monday, April 20th at 6:30pm in New Covenant Church's Fellowship Hall. While we eat supper ($5, kids eat free) we discuss community projects, fundraisers, and events. Anyone is welcome to attend and share their thoughts and ideas on making Harrisville great!

Huge thank you to our friends at Tip Top Tree Service for stepping in and taking care of a serious hazard at the park! This tree was on the verge of falling and could have caused major damage to the bridge, our newly redone picnic table, and the freshly refurbished bulldozer. We’re so grateful for your quick response and support in keeping our park safe and beautiful for everyone! 🌳💚

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to help with our first park clean-up day of the year! We had the largest turnout we’ve ever had, and it made such a difference. The Harrisville Community Park looks beautiful. We are so grateful for each of you!

Just a quick reminder that the Economic Council will meet Monday at 6:30 PM in New Covenant’s Fellowship Hall. The meeting is open to the public, and we’d love for anyone interested in supporting and growing our community to attend.

Thanks again to our amazing volunteers! 💚

As we step into a new year, our hearts are set on looking outward.

Last year, our efforts were centered on stewarding our local park, hosting community events, and strengthening our organization by recognizing and developing the individual gifts within our members. This year, our hope is to take that same spirit of service and let it ripple through our entire community. We want to be intentional about encouraging connection, supporting one another, and contributing to the overall well-being of Harrisville in meaningful and sustainable ways.

Our vision remains clear: a thriving and connected Harrisville, where economic growth, community spirit, and sustainable development create a prosperous and welcoming town for all. Everything we do is rooted in collaboration, service, and a genuine love for our town.

As we move forward, we’re guided by this verse:

“Seek the peace and prosperity of the city… because if it prospers, you too will prosper.”
— Jeremiah 29:7

We’d love for you to be part of the conversation as we look ahead. All community members are welcome to join us tonight at 6:30 PM at New Covenant Church in the fellowship hall. Whether you’re a longtime supporter or just curious about what’s happening in Harrisville, there’s a seat for you.

We’re grateful for every neighbor, volunteer, business, and supporter who helps make Harrisville a place where people feel connected, valued, and at home. Here’s to a year of growth, unity, and shared purpose.

This season, we invite you and your family to add an ornament to our Community Christmas Memory Tree

Bring an ornament that’s special to you — homemade, store-bought, old, or new — and hang it on the tree as a way to share a memory, honor a loved one, or mark a meaningful moment. Add a name, a year, a short message, or a note of remembrance if you’d like.

Come back each year and watch the tree fill with stories, love, and memories that connect our community. One ornament at a time.

Because the most meaningful traditions are the ones we build together.
