Blackwood Arts has been helping Make-A-Wish Greater PA and WV grant wishes since 1991... We hope to continue doing so for many years to come.

Please consider joining us on July 19 at 2:00 p.m. for our annual Make-A-Wish fundraising concert featuring world-renowned organist, Jonas Nordwall.

Good things are happening "behind the scenes" at Blackwood...

We're busy preparing for our upcoming and exciting 2026 concert season!

Some highlights;
• A new parking area for volunteers and physically disabled patrons at the Yellow Recreation Building.
• Tree trimming and clearing of branches, limbs and brush (it's a continuous, labor intensive process).
• A new high efficiency furnace for the Music Room and Pipe Organ chambers.
• Work continues on new outreach programs. We're providing musical instruments and educational opportunities to students in more school districts.

We look forward to seeing our loyal patrons again in just a few months!

Longtime friend of Blackwood Arts and organist virtuoso, Jonas Nordwall is working to save one of the finest theater organs in the Pacific Northwest;

A theater organ that has been housed in the Cleveland High School auditorium since the early 1990s will soon be removed as the school undergoes a modernization project.

Some year-end reflection as Blackwood Arts has successfully completed another concert season. We are eternally grateful for our friends...

Blackwood Arts patrons were treated to wonderful music and delicious food yesterday at our annual fundraising dinner concert. Heartfelt thanks to Walt Strony and John Marshall Catering for making the event a huge success. Thanks also to our team of volunteers who make these events possible!

Blackwood Arts and Adam G. Swanson completed eleven performances in just six days! We're grateful to Adam for helping us introduce students to ragtime, swing, blues and jazz music. Additionally, Adam played several private concerts, including one for local veterans. The grand finale of this tour was yesterday afternoon, as Adam dazzled his audience at Blackwood Arts!
