While most of the club was rec wheeling at Anthracite Outdoor Adventure Area or Field & Forest Recreation Area a few members were competing and killing it.

Zach Capaldo won Battle at Burma at Famous Reading Offroad and Luke Dognin and Adrian Dognin took second place in the rear steer class at SLRC

Here's the toy haul from the toy drive we held at Field & Forest Recreation Area

For an idea of how many toys are here those small boxes in the side door are 2x2x2

We had to use a box truck from work to transport everything to Centralville Sportsmen's Club as it wouldn't fit in an SUV no matter how neatly we packed it.

Thank you to everyone that participated and donated. There is going to be a lot of happy little kids this Christmas

The club and New England offroading as a whole lost a great guy and a great friend with the passing of Kevin Powell today. Looking at the pics all over the internet they are filled with him fixing people's rigs on the trail and in the garage or helping build people's rigs. He's in a volunteer shirt for different events in half of them. He always stepped up to help. He was one of the longest standing members of the club and a lot of early conversations with him helped mold where the club went. He was a huge influence on the club as a whole and in particular to a lot of the core members. We were a new club with mostly new off-roaders and he joined us for some strange reason.

He leaves a huge void, literally and figuratively. Really going to miss you Kev

Sterling Corporation wants to keep this going until we hit the $5,000 they promised to match.The event is over but the fundraising goes on for a little bit longer.
