A 501c3 charitable project that helps those in need celebrating high school or middle school graduation attend their prom/dance/event with free, appropriate attire and accessories. All it took was one news article about how expensive prom was, to get the wheels turning. What happens to the kids whose family have come upon unfortunate circumstances? Prom is expensive, but what about the girls who dream about her sparkly ball gown or the guys who want their tuxedos? Why should these kids, whatever their reason is, have to sacrifice the experience of picking a pretty formal dress, dress, shoes and jewelry or suits, ties and shoes? Our goal is to create an experience for kids who would not be able to go to prom due to the cost. We are a completely non-profit group who takes donations of anything formal related for both girls and guys, but we take it one step further. We also offer them toiletries, hair & makeup tips, and shorter dresses & ties for graduation. Here in 2022, we have a retail space at the Valley Mall in Harrisonburg va with spaces for departments (clothing, shoes, make-up etc.) Each client is assigned their own stylist to help with the process. We take donations at various locations and at our retail space at the Valley Mall. Monetary donations help us have funds to purchase new items not donated.
