On the Road Collaborative (OTRC) is pleased to announce its intent to apply for 21st Century Community Learning Center (21CCLC) funding to support an afterschool and summer program at Skyline Middle School.

The proposed program, in partnership with Harrisonburg City Public Schools, will provide academic support, enrichment, career exploration, mentoring, recreation, and family engagement opportunities for Skyline students and families.

We look forward to continuing our partnership with HCPS to expand opportunities for Skyline students beyond the school day.

This job is a chance to help write the next chapter of our mission to support youth in Harrisonburg and beyond, alongside new CEO, Seli Perry. As Director of Development, you'll be the engine behind our growth: building relationships with donors and partners, crafting compelling grant proposals, planning fundraising events, and shaping our development strategy to ensure we have the resources to deliver high quality programming for youth.

We're looking for someone who's passionate about youth development, storytelling and creating lasting change. If that sounds like you (or someone you know), this is a chance to make a tangible, lasting impact on young lives right here in our community.

At Skyline Middle School, our youth painted flower pots while talking about mental wellness, connection to the environment, and what growth looks like over time. The activity gave them space to reflect, and express themselves creatively while making something they can take with them.
