The Economic Policy Institute (EPI) notes that from 1978 to 2024, real CEO compensation rose by 1,094%, whereas typical worker pay grew by just 26% over the same nearly 50 year period.
My whole life workers have been losing ground to the well off and most of us are okay with it. I am not! Join your local union and help workers fight back for the next 50 years.

Governor Spanberger is right! For far too long, Virginia has fallen behind the national average.

VEA is ready to work with the Governor and General Assembly to make her the first governor to get Virginia’s teacher pay above the national average and keep it there!
