Staff Spotlight: Jasper Smalfelt - Client Services Coordinator

Jasper first joined FairField Mediation Center as an intern in 2023 and returned full-time after graduating from JMU - continuing his passion for serving the Harrisonburg community.

He’s proud to support access to mediation services that empower people to resolve conflict on their own terms. “Self-determination is powerful,” he says, especially for those with limited time or resources.

Outside of work, Jasper is also a longtime singer - and still finds joy in music today.

We’re lucky to have Jasper on our team!

Employee Spotlight: Sue Praill, Director of Restorative Justice 🌿

Meet Sue Praill, who leads FairField’s Restorative Justice program with deep compassion and strength. After discovering RJ during her master's at EMU, Sue has dedicated herself to creating spaces where people can heal, be heard, and move forward together.
