If you're near Broadway, stop by and check out the 4-H incubator at the Village Library and learn about the growth and development of a chicken! We're hoping for a hatch date of October 11-12, so make sure you pop in to check out the chicks once they hatch that week, too! 🐣

We're very excited to share that Village Library in Broadway has its very own Embryology Station! This educational initiative is brought to MRL by the Virginia Cooperative Extension’s 4-H office to educate patrons about the life cycle of chickens. 🐣🐥

For the next few weeks, you will be able to watch up close as chicks go through their 21-day life cycle from eggs to hatchlings. Branch manager Barbara Andes says Village Library is "really looking forward to having a front-row seat as we witness these amazing real-life transformations!"
