Our Story

What Is Relay? Relay For Life is a 12 hour fundraising event supporting the American Cancer Society. Relay For Life of JMU is the third largest collegiate Relay in the nation, and the #1 fundraiser per capita. Come out to Hillside field on April 6th from 6pm-6am to help us celebrate, remember, and fight back!

You can register for our event by going to relayforlife.org/jmu. If you can’t attend Relay on the 6th, you can still make a difference by donating to help us reach our overall goal of $315,000. Just click on the link or mail in a check to the American Cancer Society Harrisonburg office at 420 Neff Avenue Harrisonburg, Va 22801. All checks can be made out to the “American Cancer Society”.
