We take any and all book donations and give them new life by selling them in our retail space inside of Gift & Thrift, selling them online or by recycling the paper to make brand new books! We are a non-profit organization benefitting Mennonite Central Committee (MCC). Proceeds aid disenfranchised people around the world.

We’re Saying Goodbye to Booksavers - But Not Really

Gift & Thrift and Booksavers of Virginia have held a long, valuable partnership. Along the way, we have merged internally but kept our separate names. It often results in confusion more than anything, so we’ve decided to say goodbye to Booksavers in name alone. What does this mean? Don’t worry — the books aren’t going anywhere! We’ll still be your favorite bookstore and continue to save books. Nothing will change except the signs on our store. The Booksavers social media accounts will no longer be in use, so be sure to follow the Gift & Thrift Facebook and Instagram pages to stay up to date!
