COMFORT

In Luke 9:23 Jesus says “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.”

Most men don’t walk away from God in rebellion, they drift away in comfort!

Comfort says, “Later is fine.”, “This is good enough.”, “Don’t rock the boat.”

But Jesus doesn’t call men to convenience, He calls men to commitment.

Obedience isn’t giving up freedom, it’s the least we could do to honor the one who paid it all for us upon that cross!

He gave us His righteousness.

Not by effort.
Not by pride.
By God’s grace alone.
