Great Community Give Thanks to generous donors like you, we raised $2.2 million for local nonprofits in 2025! Stay tuned for the 2026 date.

This is the giving day in Harrisonburg and Rockingham County. The Great Community Give will be a sunrise to sunset day of giving on April 17, 2024. It is one special day when everyone in Harrisonburg and Rockingham County is asked to make a donation and show support for our local nonprofit organizations that contribute so much to our great community. Together, we can show our generosity and collectively make a significant impact on our area.

Did you know? Peer-to-Peer (P2P) fundraisers can make a ⭐HUGE⭐ difference for GCG nonprofits! On average, organizations that had P2P fundraisers raised over ⭐DOUBLE⭐ the amount than those who did not have P2P fundraisers! This is an awesome fundraising tool for nonprofits and a great way to get involved for community members!
