First Fridays of the Valley starts right NOW! Catch visual and performing arts experiences at 22 venues across downtown Harrisonburg. Most locations are open from 5-7, so you can visit more than one. We're excited to host this exhibition of works by Anna Marie Pavlik at Smith House Galleries this month. Please plan to join us Friday, July 7 (5-7 pm) for the opening reception, hosted by Estland. Meet the artist, enjoy live folk and Americana music by Jane Cox, and sample light refreshments.

Spend part of your Second Saturday at Smith House Galleries (311 S Main St, Harrisonburg). From 10 am to 2 pm July 7, Kentucky artist Anna Marie Pavlik will offer a drop-in workshop featuring tabletop press and hands-on activities: drawing on a prepared etching plate, making pressed foam print, and experimenting with monoprint. Stop in to try your hand at creating a work of art!
