Local Peace Initiative would like to extend our deepest sympathy to the family & friends of George Floyd, as well as express our solidarity with those of color, who deserve equality & respect, yet seem to systematically suffer more by those who should be protecting & serving them. Local Peace Initiative is proud to announce the start of "the Message is in the Music" songwriting class at Thomas Harrison Middle school in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Guiding young minds towards greatness through word, sound, and positivity. We will be facilitating and teaching this wonderful class of 7th and 8th graders through early December. Once complete, each child will receive a cd copy of the song they co - created with their classmates. Got to start with the youth, and help them find their positive, solution oriented genius, one song at a time. - Greg Ward
