Is anyone missing a gray and white tuxedo looking cat? It was sitting on the steps of our deck just now watching the flying squirrels. It looks very healthy. I'm worried because we have a fox living in our wood pile and it hangs around here everyday.

Happy Fourth of July weekend from the 7 Island Lake Association! A reminder our boat parade is tomorrow (weather permitting). It will be a busy weekend on the lake and on the lake roads so take it slow and give each other plenty of room!

Also, every year we have a number of area dogs run off as a result of firework noise. The fact of the matter is, the fireworks noise will be unavoidable this weekend. If your dog is sensitive to this, please make sure you take proper steps to keep your furry friend safe and happy. There is a lot of unfamiliar woods that dogs can get confused in when they try to hide from the noise. Please keep your dogs indoors if you think the fireworks will be an issue!

WILDFIRE DANGER: The Wisconsin DNR has upped the entire state to either a high or very high fire danger for today. Burning is highly discouraged today. Some areas may see their burn permits suspended today as a result of the risk. Please avoid burning debris today. Please be cautious with any other activities that could potentially start a wildfire.
