Ozark Opportunities, Inc. Assumes Leadership of House of Hope
Program to Expand Regional Housing Support
Transition Focuses on Integrated Case Management, Housing Stability, and Direct Resource Connections Across North Central Arkansas
HARRISON, Ark. — August 20, 2026— Ozark Opportunities, Inc. (OOI), the designated Community Action Agency for North Central Arkansas, officially announced today that it is assuming operational management of the House of Hope program as a new agency initiative beginning October 1, 2026. This transition aims to streamline support for unhoused individuals and families in crisis, expanding access to long-term housing solutions and essential community resources.
Through this strategic integration, House of Hope will become the HOPE Initiative for the agency, and will encompass all of the agency’s housing efforts across the region. The new model will include a strong focus on comprehensive client navigation,
individualized case management, and crisis intervention while leveraging Ozark Opportunities' broader network of family self-sufficiency programs.
Key Highlights of the Transition:
Targeted Housing Navigation: Dedicated support to help individuals and families move from immediate housing crises into stable, long-term housing arrangements.
Streamlined Access to Regional Services: Clients will gain direct entry to Ozark Opportunities' full suite of programs, including low-income home energy assistance (LIHEAP), rental & other emergency assistance, and educational support.
Comprehensive Case Management: One-on-one coaching and goal planning aimed at removing barriers to stability and financial independence.
