Happy Lifeguard Appreciation Day! Today we celebrate the lifeguards who keep watch over our campers at the beach, on the docks, and out on Long Lake. We’re so grateful for all you do to keep camp safe and fun! Thank you!!

Week 2 of Second Session had a little bit of everything! From waterskiing, sailing, and fishing on Long Lake to climbing competitions, a rainy capture the flag, epic cabin nights, canoeing trips, and an awesome ultimate frisbee win—camp has been full of adventure, celebration, and plenty of fun. It’s hard to believe how much can happen in one week!

And they are off! A tradition every CIT looks forward to! This week, Newfound and Owatonna CITS set off on separate 5-day wilderness trips—an unforgettable part of the CIT experience! Time on the water and the trails, around the campfire, under the Maine stars, and with friends creates the kind of memories that last.

Bridgton’s 4 on the Fourth is one of our favorite events of the summer! From the costumes to the race to the excitement of the day — it’s always a highlight!

One of the things we love most about summer in Maine is the camp community. This week, Newfound and Owatonna, hosted friendly soccer matches with two neighboring camps. The games were full of hustle, teamwork, and enthusiastic spectators! ⚽️ ⚽️

Bumper tubing at beach party is a camp classic for a reason. Full of fun and just the right amount of hanging on!

Camp is in full swing! 🌲☀️
Sails are up, ski boats are on the course, the Owatonna World Cup has kicked off on Coomber Field, campers are tackling the low ropes course, and learning new skills in Woodswoman. Everywhere you look, campers are trying new things, building friendships, and having an absolute blast.
The smiles say it all. 😊
