☀️🌺 Beat the Summer Heat with LIHEAP Utility Assistance! 🌺☀️

Are you 60 or older and looking for help with your summer electric bills? Ozark Opportunities, Inc. is hosting two upcoming Summer LIHEAP outreach events featuring on-the-spot approvals!

While you're getting your utility assistance sorted out, we highly encourage you to stay and partake of the delicious lunch served fresh by the Centers. For those 60 years of age and older, the cost is a suggested donation of $5.00. For those under 60, lunch is $11.00. It’s a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a great meal, chat with neighbors, and support our fantastic local Senior Centers! 🍱✨

Event 1: Marion County, Friday, June 26
10:00 AM – 1:00 PM (Lunch served starting at 11:30 AM)
Marion County Senior Activity & Wellness Center

📝 What to Bring to Get Approved On-the-Spot:
To ensure a smooth and quick application process, please make sure to bring:

🆔 ID and Social Security Cards for everyone 18+ in the household. For those under 18, social security card only.
💰 Proof of income for the last 30 days and/or your 2026 benefit letter.
📋 Proof of SNAP and/or housing benefits (if applicable).
⚡ Your current electric bill.

The Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) Summer Season officially opens on July 6, 2026, for ALL HOUSEHOLDS! If you need help staying cool this summer, please review the important updates below.

🕒 Beginning July 6th, NEW Days & Hours of Operation
Please note that our days and hours for accepting in-person applications have changed based on location.

Clinton Office: Monday – Thursday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
Harrison Office: Monday – Thursday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
Mountain Home Office: Monday – Thursday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
Marshall Office: Wednesday ONLY, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm

❌ ALL offices are CLOSED to the public on Fridays.

💡 Important Note: Summer benefits include financial assistance for ELECTRIC ONLY.

Looking for flexibility in your schedule? This role is perfect for occasional extra income. We have multiple locations we need subs for: Harrison, Jasper, Western Grove, Mountain Home, and Clinton.
