These are the phrases sister has said lately.
Special needs siblings feel enormously.
Special needs siblings miss how things used to be.
Special needs siblings go through so much and still choose happiness and love.

Sister has seen abram happy, struggling, in pain, sick, hurting, and goes through it all with him.

By the age of 4 sister could explain to anyone what a g tube was. What happened to her brother. That he needs pat pats when coughing. How to work his infinity pump. Helps mama change diapers, helps me remember to pick up our walgreens order, she knows he brother just as much as mama. Not because I forced her. Not because she needs to. But because she loves him. She knows so much and helps when she wants to. I am so incredibly proud of special needs siblings. Especially my little girl

So I give in, I say yes when she has 100 dumplings and wants one more. I say yes more times then no. Because they deserve that and the whole wide world

Abram has had very difficult time healing from his surgery. He is still in pain. Not constantly but it is there. If he moves to much, changing his diaper, and sitting in his p pod seems to be a problem.
Abram did start back up with his wonderful team of therapist at Kidspace . We missed them so much these past 6 weeks. They have taken it nice and easy getting Abram back into his therapy routine. We are so thankful for them and the love they pour into our boy.

Abram has a check up for his hips on the 26th pray everything stays aligned. As of right now there is a possibility of needing a second surgery but we wont be putting him through that unless absolutely necessary.

Abram had his 2 week check up! Everything looks great. He is healing really well. 6 weeks before he can get in the stander and another 3 weeks before he can get in the bath♥️ the ride to Springdale he was in quite alot of pain but grandpa made him feel all better♥️ so thankful for my village.

Abram had a much better day today! Grandpa came over and helped get him in his p pod chair! First time out of a bed in a week, he was happy! It only lasted a short time but he did really good.
Nights are still a struggle but we will get over this. Abram is the strongest little boy I know. He shows me just how great our God is everyday. Thank you for your prayers.
And thank you to our church family at capps full gospel. I am so blessed to have found such an amazing church with the most kind, and amazing people ❤️ thank you for loving my family and being a rock in our lives.

Since being released from the hospital Abram has needed. Nebulizer treatments, cough assist treatments, vest apx treatments and some oxygen. He is needing pain medication (he is still in excruciating pain)but with that medication it interferes with his ability to cough to clear his air way and breath properly.
I have spaced out medication from every 6 hours to 12 hoping this helps. But Abram had a rough hour or 2 last night waiting on medication to kick in. Pray I can figure out how to navigate this. Please keep praying this pain will just stop in the name of Jesus. I believe abram is doing better than most this close to surgery but my mama heart is hurting. 🙏

Abram was released yesterday at 6 pm. We made the 2 hr long drive back and he did good🧡 I am so thankful for our amazing nurses and especially nurse tanja at children's north west! Teaching me to care for, re learning to change his diapers effectively with out hurting my baby, helping me figure out medication and making him comfortable. We are so greatful for all the prayers and everyone checking on abram. He still has a long road of recovery ahead. And woke up around 3 am in alot of pain. But within 10 minutes we were able to have the pain under control! Praise God!
Kepp abram in your prayers! I think the worst is behind him but time will tell. 🧡 we are back together with the whole family. We missed addi grace and daddy so happy to be home.

Thank you for all the prayers 🙏 Abram is finally feeling better! Its been a hard 4 days but as long as we can stay ahead of his pain we now have it under control! Praise God❤️

Abram will be released and coming home this evening or early tomorrow 🧡 what an awesome God we serve💖 and what an amazing community we have thank you all!

Abram is not doing well. He is in a lot of pain. His epidural didn't work and all the pain meds he is on will only sorta work for about 45 minutes. He is moaning and crying out in pain. Please pray this pain stops in the name of Jesus 🙏
