This picture…..

A simple, but so powerful photo of our amazing outside bar.

Seeing it reminded me of For Home, For Country, and For God, our guiding pillar for the Fraternal Order of Eagles.

Our home, #1269, which we love and respect so much. We never stop improving it, refining it or making changes that benefit each person who visits. Our home is where our heart is and our love for the FOE is shared.

For country, the one place we can never be thankful enough for. Our freedoms, our veterans, our family’s, our friends. Our respect for the red, white and blue runs deep at #1269- we honor and cherish our country that so many fought so hard for us to walk freely in.

For God, Acknowledging the belief in a Supreme Being and the importance of faith. A faith that leads us to know that people helping people is why we are here and why we belong to this amazing organization. It’s a faith that draws us all together to work towards a common cause. It reminds us not only to respect each other but those who may not be as fortunate as we are.

Remember why you joined the FOE and think about what we stand for. It is the most amazing organization to belong to and be a part of.

The quiet of this photo speaks loudly - hear its voice and always remember why we were drawn together…

Thank you Cheri Forster for sharing this photo

Although closing crew is a personal post made by our bar staff at the end of the shift to recognize the folks who hang until the end with them, #1269 did not disappoint at State Convention when it came to closing crew last night…. These folks made it to the bitter end…😊

Good evening. As Auxiliary President I have the privilege of recognizing people from our Aerie that have a special place in my heart. People that I have had the privilege of working with for the better of our Auxiliary and Aerie. For my Father of the Year I chose Ed Courtemanche. He has served our Aerie well as Treasure and Aerie Secretary. He has since retired and moved to South Carolina. Since he was at the Eagles State Convention in Lansing I took the opportunity to present him with his certificate.
Thank you Ed for all you service and dedication to Mt Clemens 1269 Aerie and Auxiliary.
We miss you already!

Much love and Respect-
Pamela Peacock
