What started in January 2025 with a small group of board members has grown into something special.

This week, we brought our full Board of Directors together in person for the first official board meeting of the Tyler Conklin Foundation at .

Board members traveled in from across the country to reflect on everything we’ve accomplished, align on our vision for Year 3, and continue building a foundation that will create lasting impact for years to come.

A special thank you to Mike Jolet for graciously hosting us, and to every board member for your commitment, leadership, and belief in our mission.

TOMORROW! 🏈 Detroit Lions Tight End Tyler Conklin Is Collecting Donations for MCREST

MCREST is proud to be a beneficiary of the Tyler Conklin Foundation Community Day & Youth Football Camp — and if you're looking for a great way to spend a day while giving back, this is it.

Detroit Lions tight end Tyler Conklin is hosting a community festival at L'Anse Creuse North High School that is part football camp, part farmers market, part neighborhood celebration — with food trucks, local vendors, bounce houses, entertainment, and plenty of fun for the whole family. And right in the middle of all of it, attendees are invited to donate items directly to MCREST.

If you're planning to attend, please consider bringing a donation for our shelter guests. We are grateful to Tyler and the Tyler Conklin Foundation for including MCREST in this special day.

We’re excited to partner with MCREST as part of the Tyler Conklin Foundation Community Day on June 27! 🙌

As we come together for a day of youth football, family fun, food trucks, vendors, and community connections, we’re also coming together to help those in need.

MCREST does incredible work supporting individuals and families experiencing homelessness right here in our community, and we’re proud to help support their mission.

Want to learn from the best while having an unforgettable day?

Join Detroit Lions Tight End Tyler Conklin and an incredible lineup of current and former NFL, college, and high school athletes for the Tyler Conklin Foundation Youth Football Camp on June 27 at L'Anse Creuse High School North.

Athletes will rotate through position-specific stations led by experienced coaches and players, receive hands-on instruction, and learn the fundamentals of the game in a fun, high-energy environment.

We're also excited to partner with NXTGEN PT & Performance, who will be providing combine-style testing throughout the camp. Athletes will have the opportunity to test their speed, agility, and athletic performance just like the pros.

Whether you're looking to improve your game, compete, learn from elite athletes, or simply have a great experience, this camp is for you.

What started as a football camp has grown into a day dedicated to bringing the community together.

Last year, hundreds of athletes, families, volunteers, sponsors, and local businesses joined us for an unforgettable day of football, mentorship, and community impact. Watching young athletes learn from Tyler and other local role models while families connected throughout the day is exactly why the Tyler Conklin Foundation was created.

We're excited to do it all again on Saturday, June 27 at L'Anse Creuse High School North.

The day will feature our Youth Football Camp, followed by a FREE Community Day Celebration open to everyone. Attendees can enjoy food trucks, local vendors, bounce houses, a golf simulator, free health screenings, giveaways, family activities, and more.
