Pastor Terry’s Sermon: “More Than Conquerors”; Scripture Lesson: Acts 5:12-42
Purpose statement: How do miracles underscore the Spirit’s dynamic presence in the apostles’ lives? What grips the hearts of the religious leadership? How did the apostles return to the Temple to teach with renewed fervor? They experienced Christ’s power firsthand. How have you experienced the power of Christ?

The new edition of the Upper Room is available on the table in the narthex.
October is Pastor Appreciation Month
During the month of October, we encourage you to take time to honor Pastor Terry by offering your prayers, support, kind words, cards, or letting him know somehow that he is appreciated.
Volunteers needed for Community Trick or Treat Night
Trick or Treat Night is on Saturday, October 31st from 6-8 p.m. at the Huntingdon Street side of the church and we are looking for candy donations and volunteers to decorate a table and hand out candy. We will set up tables outside at 5:30 p.m. Bowls will be provided. If you would like to decorate and man a table, please let Pastor Terry know or call/email the church office. Candy donations can be brought to the church office or placed in the basket in the narthex by Sunday, October 25.
Shoebox Collection for October
This month, we are collecting good pencil sharpeners, erasers, and pens.
We do not have any cars/ trucks for the 2 to 4 age kids so we are also collecting those. If you would like to donate money to help with shipping costs, funds should be given to Darlene or Jen Leach or brought to the church office. Please place donations in an envelope marked for “Shoebox Postage”.

Women’s Book Club ~ Wednesdays at 7:45 p.m.
The Women’s Book Club is currently reading The Remarkable Women of the Bible. This book highlights key women from Scripture—Eve, Deborah, Sarah, Ruth, Mary, Hannah, Jochebed, and others—showing how their faith, courage, and devotion offer practical lessons for women today. Free Yoga Classes with Jayme - Thursdays at 6:30 & 7:00 p.m.
Chair Yoga is held at 6:30 p.m. and Gentle Flow Yoga (with mat) at 7:00 p.m. in the Adult Sunday school room. Jayme is a certified Christian Yoga Association Teacher. Each class will contain scripture, devotional, and prayer. Please bring your own mat. If you need a mat, there are some available for purchase for $6. Walk-ins welcome!
Family Fresh Food Pantry Collection
We are collecting non-perishable food items for the Family Fresh Food Pantry at the Neidig United Methodist Church in Oberlin. Suggested items to donate include peanut butter, jelly, canned fruit and vegetables, tuna, ketchup, spaghetti sauce, oatmeal, Hamburger Helper, stuffing, spaghetti, macaroni, kidney beans, pork & beans, macaroni & cheese, boxed potatoes, coffee, tea, etc. Please place your donations in the small adult Sunday school room. Thank you for your continued support!
Altar Flower Calendar
There are several Sundays still available for you to place flowers “in memory of” or “in honor of”. Flowers are $35.00 for two vases and are yours to take home or give to someone special. The calendar is on the bulletin board in the hallway.
Bulletin Announcements and Office Hours
The deadline for announcements for the Sunday bulletin is on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. Announcements can be sent by e-mail to [email protected] or call the church office at 564-1528. The church office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Trinity’s Annual Congregational Meeting - Sunday, November 8, 2026
The Congregational Meeting will be held on Sunday, November 8 at 9:45 a.m. in the Adult Sunday School room. Worship Services will be held at their normal times of 8:30 & 11:00 a.m. There will be no Sunday School. Please mark your calendar and plan to attend. Your attendance and participation are important for the good of Trinity Church.
ThankOffering Sunday - November 15, 2026
Our speaker on Thankoffering Sunday will be Dee Jaramillo, Deputy Director of the EC Church Global Ministries Community. She will speak at both services on the topic of “ThankOffering”. A special ThankOffering collection will be taken. Envelopes will be available in November.
